Food security discussed at Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan
Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev met with representatives of agro-industrial enterprises. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The meeting was attended by representatives of more than 20 companies, including flour mills, enterprises producing vegetable oil and sugar.
«Some 10 billion soms have been allocated for nine main agricultural clusters. State banks start to issue loans at 6 percent per annum,» the official said.
He also noted the importance of ensuring food security of Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the special role of the agro-industrial sector in this matter.
