Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 488.3 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 1,518,901 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 488,346,479 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (80,103,665), India (43,024,440), Brazil (29,583,111), France (25,803,173), Russia (17,564,186), Turkey (14,860,560), Great Britain (21,309,769), Italy (14,642,354), Spain (11,508,309), Germany (21,394,747), Argentina (9,037,911), Iran (7,162,220) and Columbia (6,084,916).
At least 6,142,805 people died from the virus, including 980,624 people — in the USA, 660,022— in Brazil, 322,948— in Mexico, 521,129— in India, 165,977— in the UK, 159,383— in Italy and 361,014 — in Russia.
At least 200,946 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,393,786 cases — in Kazakhstan, 237,749— in Uzbekistan, 17,786 — in Tajikistan.
