Balykchy hosts military excesses with use of UAVs
Special tactical exercises Kalkan-2022 are held in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the President reported.
The exercises are held on the basis of Edelweiss training center of the Ministry of Defense in Balykchy. The head of state Sadyr Japarov is watching the course of the exercises.
«The main goal of the exercises is to work out interaction of the country’s security forces to destroy a mock enemy who broke through the border section. Units of the State Committee for National Security, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs take part in them. For the first time in the history of the Armed Forces, Bayraktar TB-2 attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) will be used during the exercises,» the statement says.
