Monitoring group for protection of business starts work at Supreme Court
A monitoring group for protection of businessmen’s rights was set up at the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan. The International Business Council (IBC) reported.
According to the IBC, this is just a group for now, but in the future it may become an effective platform to develop proposals for judicial reform, improvement of the judicial branch of government and law enforcement practice.
The IBC proposed to publish publicly available statistics on each judge of both local courts and the Supreme Court on the number of acts passed or cancelled and other information that would allow the public to fully monitor their work.
The information can be provided in electronic form. At present, only individual judicial acts are publicly available, and there are no case files. It is also worth improving the system of searching for necessary court information.
In addition, the IBC proposes to publish draft decisions of the Scientific Advisory Council at the Supreme Court.
