Price of sugar falls by almost 3 soms for week in Kyrgyzstan
Price of granulated sugar has fallen by 2.3 soms over the past week in Kyrgyzstan. The National Statistical Committee provided such data.
If on March 17 the cost of the product on average in the country was 93.87 soms, then on March 24 it fell to 91.04 soms. At the same time, price of sugar fell most of all in Tokmok (by 11.3 soms), Jalal-Abad (by 9.45 soms) and Naryn (by 9.17 soms). The lowest sugar price is currently in Tokmok (80.76 soms), Kara-Balta (80.77 soms) and Naryn (81.34 soms).
At the same time, there are regions where the product, on the contrary, has risen in price over the past seven days. Thus, a significant increase in prices for granulated sugar was registered in Osh — by 16.25 soms. In addition, the price for it increased in Kerben (by 2.44 soms), Talas (by 2.4 soms) and Uzgen (by 1.98 soms). The highest sugar price to date is in Uzgen (104.95 soms), Isfana (101.73 soms), Batken (100 soms) and Kara-Suu (100 soms).
