Lawyer Nurbek Toktakunov arrested for 5 days for insulting judges
Trial against a lawyer Nurbek Toktakunov ended in the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek. His colleagues confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
Toktakunov is accused of petty hooliganism, which is expressed in insulting all the judges of the country. He is charged with «using obscene language (including swearing) in a public place.»
Earlier, at a rally near the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, Nurbek Toktakunov said that the decision to ban rallies near the diplomatic mission building was unconstitutional. He also spoke out emotionally about the judges of Kyrgyzstan and called them «nobody».
The Pervomaisky District Court decided to arrest Nurbek Toktakunov for five days.
