8 billion soms allocated to Emergencies Ministry for purchase of food products
To date, about 8 billion soms have been allocated for the purchase of necessary food products. The Chairman of the Cabinet Akylbek Japarov announced today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on anti-crisis measures.
According to him, the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank are invited to revise internal standards. It is proposed to allow the Ministry of Emergency Situations to take money in cash, if necessary, to purchase food products and maintain the required level of state material reserves.
«In 2008, there was also a surge in wheat prices. Then China helped us. I suggest relying not only on traditional markets, but also on China, Iran and other directions,» Akylbek Japarov noted.
