Kyrgyz film "Salvador Dali" wins prize at International Film Festival
The Kyrgyz film «Salvador Dali» won a prize at the International Film Festival in India. The national film studio Kyrgyzfilm named after Tolomush Okeev reported.
The short film by Eldiyar Madakim won the Best Child Actor award.
The film was shot in 2021 at Aitysh Film Studio with the support of the national film studio. «Salvador Dali» tells about the childhood of the film director himself. He was brought up by his grandmother, who lived in the mountains. Every day the boy had to cover long distances and cross the river to get to school.
