About 200 people participate in rally in support of Russia in Bishkek
Rally in support of Russia continues in Maxim Gorky minipark in Bishkek.
Its participants welcome Moscow’s actions in Ukraine and hold banners in support of migrants who are working in the Russian Federation. Announcement of the rally, which was sent out on social media, said that it was «a rally in support of Russia’s actions to eliminate fascism in Ukraine.» Today, the focus of the rally has been shifted. It was stated that the rally was organized in support of the friendship between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.
There are about 200 people in total.
Children with flags were also brought to the rally. However, they left 20 minutes later.
Organizer of the event is unknown.
A similar rally in support of Russia’s actions was also held in Osh last Saturday.
Situation in Ukraine remains complicated. Fighting continues. Russia started a special military operation on February 24, 2022. The number of military and civilian casualties continues to grow. Many states have imposed and continue to impose severe sanctions on Russia.
