Protest at Russian Embassy: Ondurush Toktonasyrov fined 3,000 soms
Civil activist Ondurush Toktonasyrov was fined for disobeying police officers. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
It is noted that he must pay 3,000 soms to the state budget. Earlier, the court ruled to acquit Ondurush Toktonasyrov under the Article «Petty hooliganism.»
A protest was held near the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan on March 17. Aziza Abdirasulova and Ondurush Toktonasyrov came to the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation. Several other people joined them later, including a human rights activist Dinara Oshurakhunova.
At first, the police did not interfere with the action, but later law enforcement officers asked the protesters to leave. However, the protesters demanded an official warning. Law enforcement officers detained the participants of the rally and took them to the police department of Pervomaisky district.
