Large batch of opium confiscated in Isfana
Officers of the State Service on Drug Control seized a large batch of opium in Isfana. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
«A citizen, who had two bundles of opium wrapped in foil in his sports bag, was detained during special investigative actions. The net weight of the drug was 2,016 grams,» the statement says.
Another suspect involved in the crime was also identified. He was also detained. The investigation is ongoing.
