74 houses flooded in Chatkal district due to heavy rains
At least 74 residential buildings were flooded due to heavy rains in Chatkal district of Jalal-Abad region. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
It is noted that the courtyards of 74 residential buildings in Zhany-Bazar, Kurulush and Kara-Oi villages in Chatkal district were flooded on March 15 at about 11 a.m. due to heavy rains. One residential building was completely flooded.
At least 11 houses are under the threat of flooding now.
Measures to eliminate flooding continue to date.
