Council for Cooperation with Development Partners created in Kyrgyzstan
A Coordination Council for Cooperation with Development Partners was formed under the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. The corresponding decision was signed by the head of the Cabinet Akylbek Japarov.
According to the press service of the government, the Coordination Council was created to carry out general coordination and make agreed decisions on the use and planning of external assistance from development partners.
The Council is a consultative and advisory body; it will ensure the development and preparation of recommendations and proposals on the effectiveness of the implementation of provided external assistance. Its main task is to increase the effectiveness of the provision of foreign development assistance.
