Ex-head of Osh Internal Affairs Department holds rally in support of Putin
Ex-head of the Internal Affairs Department of Osh region Abdylda Kaparov holds a rally in support of Vladimir Putin near the Government House in Bishkek. Video footage was posted on social media.
The former police colonel came on a horse and with a banner with an image of the President of Russia on it with the inscription «We support you.»
According to eyewitnesses, after the Government House, Abdylda Kaparov moved towards the Parliament building. In June 2017, Abdylda Kaparov was sentenced to four years in a penal settlement. According to media reports, he accused the Jeenbekov brothers of embezzling funds allocated to stabilize the situation during the June 2010 events. Asylbek Jeenbekov filed a lawsuit against him, to whom Abdylda Kaparov paid 244,000 soms as compensation for moral damage by a court decision.
