Details of case against ex-MegaCom director Akylbek Zhamangulov announced
Former MegaCom director Akylbek Zhamangulov was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.
The court will consider the request of the investigator and choose a measure of restraint for him today.
«South Korean investors have applied to the Prosecutor General’s Office. They asked to take action against Akylbek Zhamangulov. He took money from them, promising to invest in their projects. According to preliminary data, it was the construction of a golf club. It is known that the damage to investors amounted to more than $2 million,» the sources told.
Akylbek Zhamangulov was detained on March 12. He is suspected of large-scale fraud.
