Zhanar Akayev: We have to take advantage of flow of IT specialists from Russia
Dozens of IT specialists have been arriving in Kyrgyzstan from Russia and Belarus in the last few days. MP Zhanar Akayev announced at a session of the Parliament.
He suggested the Ministry of Digital Development to take advantage of the situation and hire Russian and Belarusian specialists.
«Winston Churchill said that crisis creates great opportunities. People from Belarus and Russia come to us every day, to a country where life is quieter and cheaper. We should accommodate them in one of Technopark buildings,» Zhanar Akayev said.
The MP also suggested the Cabinet to take measures to provide migrants returning from Russia with job.
«Migrants who sent more than $2.5 billion a year to Kyrgyzstan may now be left without work themselves. If they return home, how will we create jobs? We need to think about it too,» the deputy said.
