Minimum tuition fee for foreign students of medical schools proposed
It is proposed to establish a mandatory minimum tuition fee of $3,000 for foreign citizens — students of medical schools in Kyrgyzstan. The head of the Anti-Corruption Business Council Nuripa Mukanova said at a round table discussion.
According to her, an interdepartmental commission checked the level of training of foreign students of medical faculties of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic and developed a resolution. It proposes to establish a mandatory minimum tuition fee of $3,000 for foreign citizens — students of medical schools.
«This practice will provide sufficient funding for a high-quality educational process, infrastructure, as well as for the remuneration of faculty staff and will significantly increase the inflow of investments into the economy of Kyrgyzstan. This will also stop the existing practice of dumping and eliminate tax evasion,» Nuripa Mukanova believes.
