Hunter killed by avalanche in Kemin district
A man died as a result of an avalanche in Kemin district of Chui region of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The duty unit received information about disappearance of one of three hunters who went hunting to Dzhel-Aryk valley in Kyzyl-Oktyabr rural area of Kemin district. Five rescuers left for the scene.
Upon arrival, rescuers found about 3,000 cubic meters of fallen snow mass.
As a result of search work, body of the 49-year-old man was found under the avalanche.
The body of the deceased was handed over to the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
