Number of infected with coronavirus exceeds 440.1 million people globally
The number of people infected with coronavirus has grown by 1,762,776 globally over the past 24 hours. Data of an online map developed by scientists say.
In total, 440,135,669 people got infected with coronavirus. The highest number of the infected is in the United States (79,143,710), India (42,938,599), Brazil (28,846,495), France (23,017,711), Russia (16,353,868), Turkey (14,206,121), Great Britain (19,166,049), Italy (12,867,918), Spain (11,054,888), Germany (15,174,376), Argentina (8,912,317), Iran (7,066,975) and Columbia (6,067,023).
At least 5,972,440 people died from the virus, including 954,512 people — in the USA, 650,254— in Brazil, 318,531— in Mexico, 514,246— in India, 162,278— in the UK, 155,214— in Italy and 346,197 — in Russia.
At least 200,576 cases of coronavirus were registered in Kyrgyzstan, 1,390,966 cases — in Kazakhstan, 236,596— in Uzbekistan, 17,786 — in Tajikistan.
