Elections to be held in three cities and 13 rural councils in April
Elections of deputies of three city councils and 13 rural councils will be held in Kyrgyzstan on April 10. The Central Election Commission (CEC) reported.
At least 13 political parties participate in the campaign. Voting will take place in Kara-Balta, Tash-Kumyr and Toktogul.
List of candidates for deputies of city councils will be registered until March 11, after which the period of campaigning will begin.
The CEC reminds that the nomination of candidates for deputies of 13 rural councils ends by midnight on March 10.
An important feature of elections to rural councils is the reservation of at least 30 percent of mandates for women in each constituency.
