Russia is ready for peace and an end to bloodshed. TASS reported with reference to the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Andrey Rudenko.
According to him, the list of cities proposed by Kiev for negotiations is not clear for Russia. It is noted that the Russian Federation planned to negotiate with Ukraine in «diplomacy loves silence» format.
«Kyiv is under enormous external pressure when making decisions. Issues of demilitarization and denazification should be discussed at the talks between Russia and Ukraine,» Andrey Rudenko said.
Earlier it was reported that a delegation from the Russian Federation was waiting for talks with Ukraine in Belarus, they arrived in the city of Gomel. However, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky does not agree to meet on the specified territory.
Today is the fourth day of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine. It started on February 24, 2022. On February 25, fighting took place in the north, south and east of the country. Some cities are either blocked or captured. The number of casualties among the military and civilians continues to grow. Western states impose tough sanctions against the Russian Federation, but they refused to fight in Ukraine.
On February 26, the Spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the military operation would continue after Ukraine refused to negotiate.
