Boris Johnson: The world needs a free and sovereign Ukraine
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson recorded a video message in Russian and posted it on his Twitter account.
He addressed the citizens of Russia: «I do not believe this war is in your name.»
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom called the armed conflict in Ukraine a tragedy that «must come to an end». «The world needs a free and sovereign Ukraine,» he stressed.
On the night of February 24, Vladimir Putin officially announced start of a military special operation in Donbas. An extraordinary meeting of Russia’s Security Council was held in Moscow on February 21 to discuss the issue of recognizing the independence of the DPR and LPR. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decree.
