Exchange rate of Russian ruble starts returning to previous level in Kyrgyzstan
Exchange rate of the Russian ruble started gradually returning to its previous level in Kyrgyzstan. Data of commercial banks of the country say.
Today, as of 8.05 a.m., one ruble is bought for an average of 1.02 soms, and sold for 1.16-1.20 soms. At the same time, the U.S. dollar slightly depreciated. Commercial banks buy it for 93.50-94 soms and sell for 94.50-95 soms.
It was reported yesterday that the Russian currency began depreciating after the aggravation of the situation in Donbas. Commercial banks and exchange offices of the capital bought the ruble for 0.95 soms. They sold the currency for 1.06-1.08 soms.
On the night of February 24, Vladimir Putin officially announced start of a military special operation in Donbas.
An extraordinary meeting of Russia’s Security Council was held in Moscow on February 21 to discuss the issue of recognizing the independence of the DPR and LPR. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decree.
