Last Saturday of February to be working day in Kyrgyzstan
The last Saturday of February will be a working day. The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The department reminded that the Cabinet of Ministers had previously adopted a resolution on the postponement of days off. Thus, Saturday, February 26, will be a working day because of the day off on January 5.
The Ministry of Labor also noted that February 23 — Defender of the Fatherland Day — is a day off.
It was announced at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers at the end of December that it is planned to cancel the celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day (February 23), April Revolution Day (April 7) and Days of History and Memory of Ancestors (November 7-8) in Kyrgyzstan. But no decision has been made yet.
