Price of milk grows by 12 soms in Bishkek since beginning of 2022
Since the beginning of 2022, the price of unpasteurized unbottled milk in Bishkek has grown by 11.6 soms. The National Statistical Committee provided the data.
If at the end of December 2021 the product cost 49.52 soms, then by February 17, 2022 the price of milk rose to 61.08 soms. The growth rate was the highest in the country. For the past week alone, the price of milk increased by 1.7 soms.
On average in the country, milk has increased in price by 7.3 soms for a month and a half.
In addition to Bishkek, the cost of the product rose above the national level in Kara-Suu (by 10 soms), Talas (by 10 soms), Tokmak (by 9.2 soms) and Kara-Balta (by 7.7 soms) cities. But in Isfana, price of milk, on the contrary, fell by 10 soms.
At the same time, the most expensive milk is in Jalal-Abad — 65 soms per liter. The lowest price for it was registered in Chaek village, Zhumgal district — 35 soms per liter.
