Prospects for development of power industry discussed with head of World Bank
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Aziz Aaliev met with the World Bank Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic Naveed Hassan Naqvi.
According to the press service of the Cabinet, the sides discussed the prospects of the power sector, projects on renewable energy, organizational issues of the forum on power industry development, as well as the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and the World Bank.
The parties paid special attention to the project of financial recovery of the power sector.
Aziz Aaliev emphasized that the World Bank is a reliable partner of the republic in carrying out reforms in key areas, and noted the contribution of the financial institution to the development of the country.
Naveed Hasan Naqvi expressed support for initiatives of the Cabinet and readiness for further development of cooperation.
