President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held a working meeting on the activities of Heritage of Great Nomads National Holding Company JSC. Press service of the President reported.

According to it, 32 projects of the company to stimulate the domestic economy, develop the mineral resource base, industry, hydropower potential, digital technologies, projects in the fields of education, tourism, and medicine were presented.

The presented initiatives include construction of a cement plant in Issyk-Kul region, project for the development of Kavak lignite basin, development of Kuttisai, Taldy-Bulak, Andash deposits, construction of Chon-Kemin hydroelectric power station, Kara-Kul and Orto-Tokoi hydroelectric power plants, project for support and development of educational and IT spheres, construction of industrial and processing enterprises.

Sadyr Japarov approved the concept of the proposed projects and the holding’s budget for 2022, stressing the importance of timely and high-quality implementation of all projects. At the same time, the amount of the budget is not announced.

According to the head of state, all presented projects must be implemented within the specified time frame.

Heritage of Great Nomads National Holding Company JSC was established in order to implement the presidential decree on reforming the country’s mining industry. The founder is the Ministry of Finance.

One of the main goals of the holding is to create a large integrated structure capable of maximizing the concentration of available state resources for the implementation of projects in the field of subsoil use and related sectors of the economy using international experience.
