Contraband cargo worth 1 million soms from China seized
Employees of Severnaya railway customs at Alamedin station discovered a contraband cargo that arrived in Kyrgyzstan from China. The Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The total cost of the seized cargo exceeds 1 million soms.
«Contraband goods were found in a container delivered from China. The cargo was not declared for customs clearance. The due customs payments amounted to 1,055,885 soms,» the statement says.
An investigation into the fact was initiated. The materials were sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic.
