Aliyarbek Abzhaliev’s case: Ex-deputy placed in remand prison until April 9
Aliyarbek Abzhaliev, former MP and in-law of the ex-president Sooronbai Jeenbekov, was placed in the remand prison of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS). Press service of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek reports.
The preventive measure for the former deputy was considered the day before, on February 10. Aliyarbek Abzhaliev will be kept in the remand prison of the SCNS until April 9.
Aliyarbek Abzhaliev was detained on suspicion of fraud. A businessman applied to the security services, who had suffered $2 million damage as a result of fraudulent actions committed by the ex-member of Parliament.
