Son of Deputy Head of Bishkek Internal Affairs Department detained for extortion
Employees of the Internal Affairs Department of Karakol were caught red-handed when extorting a bribe. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
On February 4, senior lieutenant of the police extorted money for termination of pre-trial proceedings.
An investigation is underway.
24.kg news agency learned from own sources that the detained investigator is Baatyrbek Tyukebaev, the son of the Deputy Head of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek Tilek Tyukebaev.
