Kyrgyzstan passes peak of fourth wave of coronavirus - Health Ministry
«Based on the data on detection of COVID-19 and hospitalization, we can talk about the passage of a peak of the fourth wave,» the Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Uluk-Bek Bekturganov said at a meeting of the headquarters for combatting coronavirus infection.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the possibility of canceling the PCR testing of citizens arriving in the Kyrgyz Republic is being considered.
As a result of the discussion, it was decided to study the issue in more detail in the near future, taking into account the international practice and medical-sanitary regulations.
Deputy Head of the Cabinet Edil Baisalov stressed that the republic would ease the quarantine regime in the coming weeks.
The issue of supplying and providing oxygen stations to district healthcare facilities was also discussed. In addition, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance were instructed to work out the issue of allocation of loans from the budget for local plants-manufacturers of liquid oxygen.
