More than 110,000 families will pay for electricity at reduced rates. Press service of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The ministry noted that on January 1 the President’s decree on measures to support low-income families came into force, which established a reduced rate for electricity for recipients of the state allowance «ui bulogo komok». When consuming up to 700 kilowatt-hours per month, they will pay 50 tyiyns per 1 kilowatt-hour.
Officials added that 353,835 people, or more than 110,000 families, received the state allowance «ui bulogo komok» in January.
