Sadyr Japarov to take part in online summit of Central Asia and China
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov will take part in the collective online meeting of the heads of Central Asian countries and the People’s Republic of China on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Press service of the head of state reported.
The Chairman of PRC Xi Jinping, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov and the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the online summit Central Asian States — China, initiated by the Chinese side.
The parties will exchange views on a wide range of interaction between the Central Asian countries and China, as well as further development of multifaceted cooperation.
A joint statement of the heads of states of Central Asia and China on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations will be adopted at the end of the online summit.
The press service noted that China was among the first to recognize the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the PRC was signed on January 5, 1992.
