Cabinet of Ministers to hold visiting session in Batken region
First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Arzybek Kozhoshev held a meeting on the execution of the зresident’s instructions on the implementation of the law on the status of Batken region.
According to the press service of the Government, a list of 62 preferential border settlements, which will be provided with certain tax, land, economic and other benefits has been approved.
Arzybek Kozhoshev noted that the first visiting session of the Cabinet of Ministers will be held in Batken region in the second half of February.
«In addition to preferential state and municipal services, the Cabinet will increase pensions by 2,000 soms for residents of 62 border villages in Batken region. The possibility of doubling the amount of benefits, providing electricity on preferential terms, increase in the salaries of social workers and law enforcement officers living in these 62 border villages is considered,» Arzybek Kozhoshev said and added that all legal acts should be ready for approval at the visiting session of the Cabinet by February 15.
