Head of Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan placed in remand prison of SCNS
The Chairman of the Customs Service Adilet Kubanychbekov was placed in the remand prison of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS). This decision was made by the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek.
The head of customs was taken into custody until March 17.
The Chairman of the Customs Service Adilet Kubanychbekov was detained on January 17. According to investigators, he lobbied for the interests of private companies involved in the import of goods. In addition, it is noted that illegal schemes for hiding goods from the customs administration have been used at the customs.
