Supporters of detained head of Customs Service hold rally in Bishkek
Supporters of the head of the Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan Adilet Kubanychbekov, who was detained on suspicion of corruption, held a rally near the building of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
About 40 people participated in the rally. They demanded «to release the young official who stopped smuggling.» The protesters asked the President Sadyr Japarov and the head of the SCNS Kamchybek Tashiev to take control of the case of Adilet Kubanychbekov and consider his case fairly.
Adilet Kubanychbekov was appointed to the post of Chairman of the Customs Service at the end of October 2021.
