Migrants transfer $2.5 billion to Kyrgyzstan for 11 months of 2021
In November 2021, migrants transferred $232.3 million to Kyrgyzstan that is $ 202 million less than a month earlier. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
In total, migrants transferred $ 2,516.97 billion to the country for January — November 2021. This is $ 356.86 million more than in 2020. Russia accounts for more than 97 percent of remittances — $2,456.92 billion. At least $ 11.76 million was transferred to the Kyrgyz Republic from other states, and from the United States — $39.42 million.
As a result of November, an outflow of funds in the amount of $59 million was also registered. The bulk of the money was transferred to Russia — $56.8 million. For 11 months, the outflow is estimated at $502 million.
The net inflow of remittances in January — November 2021 to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $2,014.97 billion.
According to the results of 2020, money transfers to the republic amounted to $2,377.16 billion. At least $488.23 million were transferred from the Kyrgyz Republic to other countries. Net inflow is $1,888.93 billion.
