Deputy Orozaiym Narmatova summoned for interrogation to SCNS
Member of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Orozaiym Narmatova was summoned for questioning by the State Committee for National Security (SCNS). She herself told journalists.
According to the MP, she doesn’t know within which case she was summoned. The SCNS has not yet commented.
Adakhan Madumarov, the leader of Butun Kyrgyzstan, was also questioned at the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Previously, Orozaiym Narmatova was detained at the airport in Osh on September 10, 2021. She tried to leave for Moscow. The activist came to her brother’s funeral.
The Interior Ministry explained the detention of Butun Kyrgyzstan party member by the fact that while being in Moscow she actively criticized the country’s leadership to increase protest potential among both the migrants and citizens living in Kyrgyzstan. Orozaiym Narmatova was released a few hours later.
