Medalists of World Championships and Tokyo Olympics receive flats in Bishkek
Medalists of the Tokyo Summer Olympics and the World Championships received apartments in Bishkek. The Department of Physical Culture and Sports under the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy reported.
According to it, the opening ceremony and the official ceremony honoring the Kyrgyz wrestlers were held as a part of the Freestyle Wrestling Championship.
President of the Wrestling Federation Melis Turganbaev presented the keys to the apartments to Aisuluu Tynybekova, Meerim Zhumanazarova and Aiperi Medet kyzy. A two-room apartment was also presented to the world freestyle wrestling champion Ernazar Akmataliev and a one-room apartment — to the silver medalist of the World Championship Bekbolot Myrzanazar uulu.
Head and senior coaches Ruslan Madzhinov, Islam Tazabekov and Nurlat Takirov received cash prizes. Askar Salymbekov, President of Dordoi Association, presented Alibek Osmonov, bronze medalist of the world championship in freestyle wrestling, with a one-room apartment.
Earlier, it was reported that Akzhol Makhmudov, silver medalist of the Tokyo Olympics, was presented with a two-room apartment in Osh.
Kyrgyzstan won three medals at the Games: bronze — Meerim Zhumanazarova, silver — Akzhol Makhmudov and Aisuluu Tynybekova.
