Freestyle Wrestling Championship starts in Bishkek
Freestyle Wrestling Championship of Kyrgyzstan started in Bishkek. The State Sports Agency reports.
According to it, the competitions began today and will be held in the following weight categories: up to 57 kilograms, up to 61 kilograms, 65 kilograms, 70 kilograms, 74 kilograms, 79 kilograms, 86 kilograms, 92 kilograms, 97 kilograms and 125 kilograms.
The competitions will last until January 16, 2022.
The purpose of the championship is to form the national freestyle wrestling team of Kyrgyzstan, popularize the sport, improve the skills of athletes, select the best for the national team to participate in the Asian Championship and international tournaments.
