Omicron strain of coronavirus registered in Kyrgyzstan
Omicron strain was detected in Kyrgyzstan. The Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the strain was identified in two samples. «I said to collect samples from all over the republic and bring them to Bishkek for determining the strains,» he added.
A sharp increase in the number of cases of coronavirus and community-acquired pneumonia is registered in Kyrgyzstan after New Year holidays. At least 465 new cases have been registered for the last 24 hours.
