201 children in Kyrgyzstan do not go to school due to financial difficulties
The district social development departments identified 201 children who do not attend general educational organizations due to financial difficulties in the family. Press service of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, there are 83 girls and 118 boys aged 6 to 17 among them. Most of them were registered in Talas region — 70 children, least of all in Osh region — 5.
The ministry reminded that 5 million soms were allocated from the president’s reserve fund for the purchase of necessary clothing, school uniforms and stationery. All items and clothes have already been purchased and will be handed over to children.
«Work is underway to return these children to schools,» the Ministry of Labor noted.
