Border Service reports changes in work of Kyrgyz-Kazakh border checkpoints
The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan announced changes in the work of the checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border.
The following checkpoints are working:
- Chaldybar-Avtodorozhny (Kyrgyzstan) — Sypatai Batyr-Avtodorozhny (Kazakhstan). At the same time, entry of citizens of Kyrgyzstan into Kazakhstan is temporarily restricted. Freight transport passes through the Chaldybar-Avtodorozhny checkpoint to the territory of Kazakhstan without restrictions;
- Ak-Zhol-Avtodorozhny (Kyrgyzstan) — Kordai-Avtodorozhny (Kazakhstan);
- Ak-Tilek-Avtodorozhny (Kyrgyzstan) — Karasu-Avtodorozhny (Kazakhstan);
- Chon-Kapka-Avtodorozhny (Kyrgyzstan) in Talas region — Aisha-Bibi- Avtodorozhny (Kazakhstan) with restrictions. Only freight vehicles moving through the territory of Kazakhstan can pass through. Citizens of the two countries can return to their homeland through this checkpoint.
The Border Service noted that citizens of Kyrgyzstan who are staying in Kazakhstan can freely return to their homeland through these checkpoints. Kazakhstanis can go to their homeland in the same way.
Accumulation of persons and vehicles was not registered at the checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh section of the state border.
The Kazakh side temporarily suspended passage of persons, vehicles and cargo due to a malfunction of the unified information system on Friday.
