Police officer attempts to commit suicide after beating his wife to death
A police officer who beat his wife to death tried to hang himself in a temporary detention center in Talas. Sources in law enforcement agencies told 24.kg news agency.
According to them, the man was previously detained on suspicion of the murder of his wife and was placed in the temporary detention center. He attempted suicide — tore a pillowcase and made a rope, using which he attempted to hang himself.
It is noted that the employees of the temporary detention center prevented the suicide, the suspect in the murder needs psychological and psychiatric assistance.
It was reported earlier that a woman died from severe beatings in Talas. Her husband was detained on suspicion of murder. He works at the Traffic Safety Department. «The husband of the deceased called an ambulance, but the arrived doctors pronounced death. A criminal case was opened on the fact,» the sources said.
