CEC registers 33 deputies in single-mandate constituencies
The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan (CEC) registered 33 deputies of the Parliament in single-mandate constituencies. It was announced at a CEC meeting.
It is noted that the CEC declared invalid the results of the elections of deputies in Sverdlovsky and Pervomaisky constituencies since the majority of residents voted against all candidates. Re-elections will be held in these constituencies.
In addition, the results have not been summed up in Chui-Kemin constituency. The Supreme Court accepted for consideration the cassation appeal against the decision of the Bishkek Administrative Court from representatives of the candidate for deputy Mederbek Sakkarayev, who won the majority of votes in this constituency. Earlier the CEC canceled his registration due to citizenship of another country.
