Health Ministry of Kyrgyzstan develops ILab information system for laboratories
The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan has developed an integrated information system ILab for laboratories. Press center of the department reported.
According to its data, the system is a tool to automate the processes of referrals processing, analysis, accounting and delivery of the results of tests, recording the diagnostic results. «ILab will also allow citizens and medical workers to access the results of tests for timely diagnosis and viewing the history of the tests results,» the ministry noted.
The ministry added that the system will connect registries, laboratory staff, doctors and citizens. «Its use will also contribute to the abandonment of paper versions of documents and logs that will save financial resources and time of citizens,» the ministry added.
In the first stage, the information system will be introduced in Bishkek’s public health laboratories and the Family Medicine Centers.
