Machine gun confiscated from leader of extremist organization in Bishkek
Alleged leader of Jaysh al-Mahdi extremist organization was detained in Bishkek. Press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of the capital reported.
During the search, a Kalashnikov light machine gun and a magazine without cartridges were seized from the suspect.
«The detainee was taken to the investigation service, forensic and legal examinations of the seized weapon were scheduled,» the department said.
