Batken residents robbed of 80 million soms during border conflict
During the armed conflict at the border with Tajikistan, residents of Batken region lost property worth 80 million soms. Presidential envoy to the region Abdikarim Alimbaev announced at a press conference.
According to him, the issue of compensation to residents of Batken is currently being considered.
Abdikarim Alimbaev noted that the restoration of Batken was divided into three stages. At least 140 houses were built at the first, 76 entrepreneurs received compensation in the amount of 14.5 million soms at the second stage.
«Some entrepreneurs have not received compensation because they do not have official documents. Therefore, we have made changes to the procedure for paying compensation. Each affected resident will get money,» he said.
