Price of diesel fuel grows by almost 3 soms since early December in Kyrgyzstan
Diesel fuel has risen in price by 2.79 soms, or 5 percent for two weeks of December in Kyrgyzstan. The National Statistical Committee provided such data.
If at the end of November diesel fuel cost 54.8 soms on average across the country, then by December 15 its price reached 57.59 soms.
Gasoline has also increased in price over the past 15 days. So, AI 95 went up in price by 1.6 soms — from 63.15 to 64.75 soms, and AI 92 — by 1.02 soms (from 58.31 to 59.33 soms).
The prices are rising due to the high wholesale price of fuel at refineries. Many small gas stations in the republic have simply closed. At the same time, the state is going to introduce state regulation of prices for fuels and lubricants in order to be able to independently set their maximum price.
