Officials conceal damage of Air Defense Forces aircraft
The military prosecutor’s office is conducting an investigation into an emergency situation in the military unit of the Air Defense Forces of Kyrgyzstan. Own sources told 24.kg news agency.
Earlier, an AN-26 aircraft standing in a hangar of the military unit 23565 fell down. According to some reports, the commanders concealed the fact.
«The plane was in the hangar, then the landing gear of the aircraft folded through the mistake of the maintenance personnel. The aircraft fell on the fuselage and was damaged. One soldier was injured. To date, the aircraft is in an unfit for flight condition. Akimzhan Tashtanov was the commander of the military unit at that time,» the sources said.
